These tracks are super mellow yet nice 'n funky. Although they could be classified in different genres, they all speak to me in the same way - they have the same kind of feel to them I guess. This is the kind of stuff I've been on the lookout for lately. Lushlife Project has released a bunch of music over the years but this is maybe my favorite - it's always hard to pick favorites. The second song I picked up about a month ago and Im not sure why I've waited till now to share it. No lyrics needed to make this one a hit, the beat is soo sick and surprised me with every little twist and turn. I hope you like it as much as I do. Been a minute...I apologize for the lack of posts lately, however, I'm coming back strong with an awesome original produced & sent over by a good friend. B-Han, is a student at Cornell University and has been making moves on the music scene throughout his college career, performing both as part of a band & creating original productions. He is an extremely talented fella who sings, plays multiple instruments, and composes riveting melodies. He recently sent over a crafty product which is a play on a Cornell professor's apparent fit of rage that ensued in a class room after a student yawned 'too loudly' during a lecture, check out the huffingtonpost's report of it HERE. The track is well-thought out, as it captures the humor of the situation while establishing an impressive and catchy electronic melody. These kids up at Cornell are dangerously talented and are absolutely heading toward a bright future. Although this is a bit of a joke, the high production and sonic quality are undeniable. B-Han's band is called Weggalo Star (to which he is the lead vocalist) and his solo stage name is Hanzel Spiff (notice who remixed the track--he also has a mixtape out which will be featured on the site soon) Get to know these guys while they're still on the DL...which won't be long as they're set to graduate soon and will be able to fully devote their talents and time to dominating the music scene!
